'Swordsmen' is a mailing list dedicated to discussing the works of Andrew Weatherall and his fellow musical conspirators.
This majordomo list runs off the Underworld.net server and is archived here at Hyperreal.com.
Discussions should be limited to the artist/labels/works somehow related to Andrew Weatherall, Sabres of Paradise, etc—there are plenty of other places to discuss other artists.
If you think a topic is relevant to the list then try your luck, you'll either get welcomed or rebuked, but remember this is a specialist list and not just another general dance forum.
HOW DO I UNSUBSCRIBE?Send an e-mail to majordomo@lists.underworld.net with the words 'unsubscribe swordsmen' in the body of the mail. HOW DO I SUBSCRIBE?
Send an e-mail to
majordomo@lists.underworld.net with the words 'subscribe swordsmen' in the body of the mail.
After an email address confirmation you will be automatically sent the information file and added onto the list database.
HOW DO I SEND MAIL TO THE LIST?The address to send mail to is swordsmen@lists.underworld.net (all lower case)
Presently the list is set to only allow mail to the list from people actually subscribed. This is to try and prevent flame posts, advertisements and other unwanted mail. To this end, you must make sure the address you send mail to the list FROM is the same address with which you subscribed - if email addresses don't match then your mail will get bounced.
