Emissions Audio Output been quiet for sometime now; even though the media would like to hear that Emissions is
folding, we all know it isn't. Anyway word from the official site reveals that
Two Lone Swordsmen, under another guise, have an electro project coming out in October or November. And if electro isn't
your thing don't forget the Lino Squares--deep house choons on Humboldt County Records; nick a copy if you see it.
Rumour also has it that Andrew Weatherall is busy building himself a new studio, in which
all of Emissions is supposed to be relocating. In the meantime, he's got a handful of remixes to keep us in awe.
Remixed artists include: Primal Scream, The Money Penny Project, Muzique Tropique and a few others.
Andy has secured a deal for the Two Lone Swordsmen on Warp records, but any output from them is unlikely to happen during this year.
Check out the Swordsmen mailing list archives for a mysterious email from "Andrew and Keith Boy".
The Aloof has been really quiet, and so has Red Snapper...anyone know whats up?
David Holmes, the man of the hour it seems,
has just released his album 'Let's Get Killed', preceeded with the excellent 'Gritty Shaker'.
For the US folks, word has it the album and single will be released Stateside on 21 October (1500 records). Wonder if there will be
bonus tracks. He's got a 7-date tour to promote the album as well.
Rumour has it a the second single to be released is 'Don't Die Just Yet'.
Another rumour has it that our man Holmer did track for the upcoming James Bond movie, but unfortunately whoever was in charge didn't like it and chose moby instead...such a shame.
He has also been recently fulfilling his dream of working on soundtrack work, both for TV and Film, including the ITV special 'Supply & Demand' written by Lynda La Plante and the film 'Resurrection Man'
