Emissions Audio Output
A
compilation entitled "Singular Emissions" has been released for export.
This is a follow-up to Fresh Emissions. No new tracks but just a nice
compilation of some of the 12" from the label. A review and other information has been
provided courtesy of GMan.
Sabrettes
Apparently Nina Walsh has decided that the Sabrettes sound that we all love has been standing still too long and unfortunately the label is headed toward closure. The final release is be a mix album entitled "Pink 'n' Poisonous - Pink Me Up (The Final Chapter)" featuring choice cuts from the label mixed up in Sapiano style.
Andrew Weatherall
"There
seems to be two schools of old punk" Kris Needs muses. "There's the sad
bastards with their mohicans still churning out three chords and gob
full of spit. And then there's your Leftfields and Weatheralls, into
dub reggae and experimental stuff. That's the true spirit of punk."
Our
man, Andy, has recently done a stint on BBC/Radio 1 show Essential Mix.
Full tracklistings and review contributed by
Dave Perkins and Spoon, respectively.
Due to
Andy's success with everyone's favorite, Rico's Helly, he, Heller, and
Farley, are due to team up again for something we will all probably
love. More details as they develop...
